====== Canceling Orders ======

To cancel an order, open the current order window and select the order. Then click the cancel button{{pos:cancelorder1.png}}

A widow opens. Select the reason for the cancelation. If Other, write the details for the cancelation. Then click Cancel this order! Enter fingerprint when requested. A note is sent to the owner of the store with the details of the cancelation.{{ pos:cancelorder2.png?400 }}

Canceling an order on the same day it was placed, prior to closing, also voids the credit card authorization. The customer will see the authorization in his bank account online portal, but it is only an authorization and will not be settled and processed once the order is canceled. The voided authorizations often show up for the customer the moment the order is canceled when the authorization is voided.

Often a customer tells you that they have a confirmation of their payment. They may be referring to the confirmation email they got from their card company for the authorization, not the order confirmation from MrJims.Pizza with our order number.
