====== Definitions ====== **POS** [Point of Sale] - This is the website that we access in the stores to take orders on the phone for customers. It requires fingerprint access. It is used just like any other POS system to take and manage orders. It also has a full suite of management functions to operate the store. **Online**%%-%%This is the customer online order entry website. It doesn’t matter what device they use, it’s all online ordering. It uses a different set of software than our POS. This includes orders that are entered into the system by Third-party Online Ordering Systems, TOOS, like DoorDash and Uber Eats. Apps - We have an app in both Google Play and iPhone App store that customers can download and use to place orders. JOES The MrJims.Pizza Order Entry System. This is what we call all the websites and servers that work together to allow orders to be entered. This includes the POS, Online, OIC, iPizza, HomePage, and our Admin Portal. MrJims.Pizza Organization Information Center - OIC - This is a team member only website that is designed to give administrators, owners, and team members secure access to things they need to perform their duties and mange operations. TOOS - Stands for Third-party Online Ordering Systems. These are the delivery service providers we have partnered with like Uber Eats and DoorDash. HomePage - This is the MrJims.Pizza website that does not include online ordering. It has lots of data of interest to customers. The address is [[https://mrjims.pizza/]]. On 14 December 2014, at 8:00 AM, .pizza domain names became available for the first time, we owned mrjims.pizza at 8:01 AM. At that moment we changed the name of the company to MrJims.Pizza. That has been our web address, logo, and company name since January of 2015. iPizza - An owner only site where you can look at all your individual online orders in real time. This is where you can resend an Online order, get a copy of an order or cancel an order. You can also change your Online settings there. This is only used by owners without POS. Admin Portal - This is the area where administrators set prices, create coupons and specials, change JOES settings and many other things. It is only accessed by Franchise Service Center staff. Item - A menu offering that can be set up in many ways. All Items must have at least one size. Items are assigned to one of the Categories. Item Category - A category of items that governs the arrangement of items on the menu and is used for grouping the items in many reports and appearances in the web presence. * Pizza D’Lish * Original * Chicken * Salads * Toasty Subs Drinks * Extras * Side Items * Stix * Pasta * Other * Bread * Dessert * Coloring Book * Promotions * Detroit Style Size - The subdivision of an item. A size has 2 prices a pick-up and a delivered price. At this time, we set both prices the same. A size can be set out of stock in OIC. A size can have toppings and ancillaries but doesn’t have to. The Item Free Coloring Book has the Size: “1 Book” with no toppings and no ancillaries. Topping - Those ingredients placed on items at the choice of the customer. Pepperoni is a topping. Ancillary -Those options a customer can select to alter his item to his preference. Thin crust is a Crust ancillary. Ranch Dressing is an item with the size Cup, a Dipping Sauce ancillary, an Extra Dipping Sauce ancillary, a Salad Dressing ancillary, and an Extra Dressing ancillary. Session - The time that you are in a website. It starts the moment you swipe your finger to open POS until you sign out. Each online customer starts a session as well. SESSION Variable - There are certain data in the POS that are only set once when a person signs in. Things like credit card processor, sales tax rate, delivery fees and reimbursements do not normally change throughout the day. If any SESSION Variables are change all users must sign out and sign back in to pick up the changes. Session Role - There are 5 Session Roles. Admin – Franchise service center staff. Owners – Full access to all POS functionalities. Manager – Access to POS manager functions. Driver – Person making the deliveries in their cars. Inside – Person taking orders. The role permissions set in the User determine the access level into POS and OIC. The role set in the scheduling tool sets the payrate.
