+A small circular port is for the power supply. However, the phones are Power over Ethernet [PoE] compatible. Many of the stores have PoE switches that provide the power to the phone through the ethernet cable. If your store has a PoE switch the phone is connected to a PoE port on the switch.
+There are 2 RJ45 ports one labeled Internet and one labeled PC. The internet port must be connected to the switch or router to provide an internet connection to the phone. The other port is for another cable that can be connected to another device. The phones have a built-in switch so that, if powered up, they can pass the internet connection on to another device. This is called a daisy chain. Sometimes it is necessary to connect devices to the internet through the phone. This is not recommended because if the phone loses power or is broken the next device loses its internet connection. Also, the older phones limit the PC connection to 100 Mbit/s and many modern Internet Service Providers offer faster speeds. Computers should not be connected through the internal phone switch.

+Dialing *67 on the Sangoma phones and entering the password 1234 sets the phone system into Night Mode. This changes the phone greeting to a greeting saying the store is closed. It turns off the phones. The calls will still come through to the phones. But all customers will have been told that the stores is closed.

+There are two different sound issues that must be watched for.
+  - The curled wire between the handset and the phone base can be bad. This causes static. The callers hear crackling noises. These wires are the same as any other phone and can be bought almost anywhere and replaced.
+  - There are very short silences within the conversation. This is not static. The sounds are transmitted over the internet in small packets. A bad internet connection can cause some of the packets to be lost. This can happen if someone on the store's network is watching a video. This is an internet connection problem. There is nothing wrong with the phone. Call your Internet Service Provider to see if they see any issues. This can sometimes take some work to resolve.
